Media Masters Training™

Master the strategies for conducting three of the most important types of media interviews – and gain the edge you need to succeed with reporters and the public.
How You Succeed – If you need to be well versed in a wide range of crisis and media skills, then this is the program for you. Today’s media are pervasive, and organizations must be ready at a moment’s notice to respond to inquiries – and with the right strategies, you can positively shape perceptions from Main Street to Wall Street. During this highly interactive training, you will learn strategies for several types of media interviews: crisis interviews, town hall / public meetings and business news interviews. (You may choose all three, or focus on just two.) Our leaders are media experts and Certified Master Practitioners in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), the study of behavior and language patterns. We have a long and successful track record helping organizations prepare for a wide range of media encounters – including local news outlets, 60 Minutes, the New York Times, The Globe and Mail, Fox News, CNN, ABC, CBS, CNBC, Bloomberg News and many others.
What You Will Learn – You will learn a host of key media skills: improved strategies for crisis interviews, fresh insights on how to stand out during business news interviews, keys to influencing the media at town hall meetings, how to “speak media” so you are more quotable and newsworthy, how to manage the interview and how to stay on message. You will also discover how to avoid typical reporter traps, how to increase your comfort level, how to better organize your messages, how to not look over-coached, how to handle the most challenging questions, how to emotionally align with public perceptions, how to engage audience memory, how to use storytelling elements and how to use compelling third-party facts. You will also learn how to increase your Credibility and Likability Factors – two elements crucial to your success.
