Crisis Drills & Exercises
Conducting Crisis Exercises
Smart organizations test their
crisis management plans with ongoing crisis response drills and exercises. Your organization will experience a crisis. It is simply a matter of when. When that happens, the news media, public and
others will judge the effectiveness of your crisis response. Crisis drills allow you to test your readiness levels and refine your plans, so you can succeed in the real world. Our crisis response consultants can help you plan and execute full drills, tabletop exercises and much more. Then we will provide a complete analysis and show you specific steps to improve your overall crisis preparedness levels.
Crisis Response Drills
Benchmark offers a range of options for helping you test your organization's crisis response readiness level.
Option 1
We can join your planned full-scale exercises and drills. We test the effectiveness of your crisis communication response. Our team takes on the roles of news reporters, customers and others to test your effectiveness. We will assess your people as they communicate with the media and others.
Option 2
We can participate in your scheduled tabletop exercises. We will focus on a scenario that unfolds in several segments. Then we will go into smaller breakout groups to discuss how each team should respond.
Option 3
For small to medium-sized organizations we can plan and execute your full-scale crisis drills to test your operational and crisis communications capabilities. Afterwards, we can provide or suggest
additional crisis training to improve your response.
Experience That Counts
From environmental disasters, to class action lawsuits, to E. coli outbreaks, to mass killings, to industrial accidents, to food contamination, to activist protests, to chemical releases – organizations have benefited from Benchmark’s crisis response strategies for more than 25 years.
